Buskers Pub and Restaurant is more than a spot to enjoy a Guinness and a burger. Buskers is Newport’s gastropub. A gastropub is a pub that specializes in serving high quality food at affordable prices.
Buskers is open 365 days a year. We are open for lunch and dinner. The bar includes a large selection of Irish whiskeys, scotch, cocktails and over 20 beers on tap. We have a tap takeover every month so as to give a constant variety of beers.
All of Buskers experienced chefs have brought the homemade touch to the gastropub. All the food is prepared fresh. Our burgers are freshly ground. All dishes are hearty and homemade. The beauty of the regular menu is that every entrée is priced affordably without sacrificing quality. There’s plenty of Irish influence on the menu too including homemade brown bread.
To add to weekend enjoyment, there is live music providing background music for an early dinner or an evening of drinks and appetizers.
Buskers offers an upstairs function room that can accommodate up to 70 people.

Our Story
In 1967, a small group of Irish entrepreneurs came to the U.S. and started Porter with the goal of bringing the best of Dublin pubs to the U.S. That goal stands firm today as we bring Irish Pub into the 21st Century.
